Evanescence - Missing

I find the lyrics to this song very true to my heart.
plus the song itself is really quite good.

Missing - Evanescence

Please, please forgive me,
But I won't be home again.
Maybe someday you'll look up,
And, barely conscious, you'll say to no one:
"Isn't something missing?"

You won't cry for my absence, I know -
You forgot me long ago.
Am I that unimportant...?
Am I so insignificant...?
Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?

[Chorus:]
Even though I'm the sacrifice,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?

Please, please forgive me,
But I won't be home again.
I know what you do to yourself,
I breathe deep and cry out,
"Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?"

[Chorus]

And if I bleed, I'll bleed,
Knowing you don't care.
And if I sleep just to dream of you
I'll wake without you there,
Isn't something missing?
Isn't something...

[Chorus]

Revenge of the Sith : THE SITH INVADES K.L.

Recently, I was at a meeting with friends when an evil Sith who called himself Darth Peow barged into the hall and started attacking all the security guards.

Good thing I anticipated the Sith attack a few hours before hand. I actually sent a distress signal to the Jedi outpost in KL to dispatch Jedi protectors to stop Darth Peow.

Some minutes later. Jedi KL sent their only available Jedi to save the day.

A bald Jedi and Jar Jar Sharma. They actually had time to pose downstairs for photos before running upstairs to battle the terrorist Darth Peow.

Model Jedis.

I'm in for a long day. Darth Peow, I'd rather join the dark side.

So shall Christ be

'One question that has always intrigued me is what happens to demonic beings when immigrants move from their homelands. Irish-Americans remember the fairies, Norwegian-Americans the nisser, Greek-Americans the vrykolakas, but only in relation to events remembered in the Old Country. When i once asked why such demons are not seen in America, my informants giggled confusedly and said, "They're scared to pass the ocean, it's too far," pointing out that Christ and the apostles never came to America".'

Richard Dorson, A Theory for American Folklore

Based on the above statement, there is one thing I can tell.

If the gospel of Christ has indeed been spread all over the world, including America, if the gospel of Christ has indeed crossed the ocean, which it has, then I am dead sure that demons have as well.

Wherever Christ is on this earth, so shall demons be,
that His might and glory over evil can be seen.
Wherever demons are on this planet, so shall Christ be,
that His might and glory over evil can be witnessed.

Do I believe in demons?
Yes I do.

James says that even the demons know the name of Christ, and shudder.

Wherever my mind wanders, so shall Christ be.
For when I fail,
He can conquer every power and principality in my life.

Wherever my heart is at,
So shall Christ be.

Cow B dot S dot

Benji doesn't bullshit.

He just cowshits.

Did you know that "cow" is a female
and "bull" is a male?

I can't believe I'm typing this.

So Benji was telling me that his lame ass name as Benji the Cow should be changed to Benji the Bull, which happens to be much lamer than anything he's ever come up with.

His perception of "intellectual" is equivalent to a cow's standard of cold milk. Whatever that means.

THe thing about cows and bulls is that they are well... beef.

I still prefer hoarrgh.

For those of you who are not literate with the discourse of what i'm talking about, Hoarrgh is horse meat. I made that word up.

Now, about whether Benji is a cow or bull...

the other day when we were having a meeting with our boss at work, our boss said that he won't call Benjamin "Benji" because "BENJI SOUNDS GAY!!!"

but Benji likes being called Benji, so that must be him saying something.

Well,

then again, if Benji was gay he wouldn't be called Benji the Cow because Cow is a female. So I think it should Benji the gay bull.

So thats it

Benji will be called Benji the Gay Bull!!!

Thats all for today, Benji fans.

Benji the Gay Bull is coming now, he better not see me post this.

B dot M and B dot I

I was at work

and I was asked to make some phone calls in B.M.
I said, "I can't speak bm for nuts. Fikri can!"

Then my boss said, "Fikri was raised in the UK and he can speak betta English than you who was raised in Malaysia where you studied in BM all your primary and secondary school life!!!"

The conversation went more or less like that.

And hey, thats true.

Whats the problem with us people man. We spend about 11 years in government school learning everything in BM and the best we can come up with now is...

"Teh Tarik satu!"
"Maggi Goreng satu!"
"Salah nombor lah..."
"Nasi Goreng satu!"
"Berapa? Dua ringgit ke?"
"Apa?"
"Dia... dia... bodoh lah."
"Cantiknya."
"Tima Kasii ya..."

and that's about it.

My goodness. we've learned a total of 20 words (+-50 error margin) after 11 years of government schooling?

Wow.

Tak de guna lah, sekolah sini. Cari perempuan pun lebih senang dari cakap BM. I know I orang cina lah tapi I tak tau lah meaning dan grammar bahasa Malay. Saya bukan racist tau, saya don't like unproductivity sekolah sekolah di country ini saja. I mean, jika mau ajar bahasa negara, ajarlah properly. Tengok, sekarang saya pun tak dapat tulis blog post ini properly.

Salah siapa bahasa saya louya ni?

If salah saya, ok lah. Memang saya lazy dulu...

Tapi sekolah sini pun siao siao sikit lah... ajar saya bahasa ni so long dah pun saya cakap macam orang gila saja. Tak banyak orang understand apa I cakap tau. Bila saya talk BM mereka stare muka saya saja macam I dari planet lain.

Banyak complicated tau.

Lebih complicated dari love and masalah boy girl friend. At least masalah cinta boleh cut off dengan senang. Ditch dia tu orang saja lah... tapi education di sini... aiyah...

Tak de apa lagi nak crap about.

Jumpa you later lah ok?

Selamat Bye bye

Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own - U2

Tough, you think you've got the stuff
You're telling me and anyone
You're hard enough

You don't have to put up a fight
You don't have to always be righ
tLet me take some of the punches
For you tonight

Listen to me now
I need to let you know
You don't have to go it alone

And it's you when I look in the mirror
And it's you when I don't pick up the phone
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

We fight all the timeYou and I...that's alright
We're the same soul
I don't need... I don't need to hear you say
That if we weren't so alike
You'd like me a whole lot more

Listen to me now
I need to let you know
You don't have to go it alone
And it's you when I look in the mirror
And it's you when I don't pick up the phone
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

I know that we don't talk
I'm sick of it all
Can - you - hear - me - when - I -Sing,
you're the reason I sing
You're the reason why the opera is in me...

Where are we now?
I've got to let you know
A house still doesn't make a home
Don't leave me here alone...
And it's you when I look in the mirror
And it's you that makes it hard to let go
Sometimes you can't make it on your own
Sometimes you can't make it
The best you can do is to fake it
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

Ticket Prices : Value Re-adjustment

You slip a sheet of paper into the printer.

The paper is blank. You've got the words and pictures all laid out in your computer and you click 'print'. What a beautiful picture you've prepared and what a lovely message you've prepared. it's a document that will change the world.

The colors, vibrantly outstanding where necessary and classically faded where necessary. The characters' expression only is a fraction of the entire pictures' collective expression. It is an expression of immense love, joy and fleeting beauty of proportional levels.

The words, so well written, reflecting a certain quality of the command of language. 'So well versed, this lad is,' people will say. So piercing, and so revitalizing, the phrases of a million roses and daffodils, reading like a sweet fragrance through the eyes of whoever reads it.

Ah , so complete, the document.

You click 'print'.

The paper is loaded. And so the printer starts popping the colors down according to the arrangement of pixels and color configurations. Its really turning out quite well don't u think?

Then the printer jams and starts blotching the paper left right and center.

Well, its really not the paper's fault. I mean, it didn't ask to be placed in the printer. And it wasn't in control of the printer's actions.

Yet it is the printer who gets fixed and the paper is crumpled, torn, and thrown into the waste paper basket to either be burnt, re-processed or whatever, even though it didn't do anything wrong at all.

That's the value of that white sheet of paper. Its a victimized value.

Will blog more when I get back.

Today is a good day.

Will blog more when I get back

NBA Season so far.

Here is the comparative review of what I predicted after the pre-season games and the actual current standings after an average of 15 games played.

Eastern Conference
Real Ranking / My pre-season prediction

1. Indiana Pacers / Indiana Pacers
2. Miami Heat / Detroit Pistons
3. New York Knicks / Miami Heat
4. Cleveland Cavaliers / Toronto Raptors
5. Orlando Magic / New York Knicks
6. Washington Wizards / Philadephia 76ers
7. Detroit Pistons / New Jersey Nets
8. Philadelphia 76ers / Cleveland Cavaliers

Western Conference
Real Ranking/ My pre-season prediction
1. Phoenix Suns (tied for 1st) / Minnesota Timberwolves
2. Seattle Supersonics (tied for 1st, but rated 2nd on games lost) /Phoenix Suns
3. San Antonio Spurs / Sacramento Kings
4. Sacramento Kings / San Antonio Spurs
5. Dallas Mavericks / Denver Nuggets
6. Minnesota Timberwolves / Memphis Grizzlies
7. Los Angeles Lakers / Dallas Mavericks
8. Los Angeles Clippers / Los Angeles Lakers

Big Surprises
1. Seattle Supersonics - My goodness. 13 - 3 when I expected them to be 3 - 13. Fantastic.
2. LA Clippers - They're actually in the top 8 when I expected them to be as bad as Seattle
3. Indiana Pacers - I know I got my prediction right. But they did it with their 3 best players suspended. My goodness. Potential NBA champions here... their bench can win games.
4. Washington Wizards - So there IS life after Michael Jordan and Jerry Stackhouse? Antawn Jamison is single handedly pumping this team upwards.
5. Orlando Magic - Oh well. About time. Screw McGrady.

What happened to my predicted teams that is missing out on the top 8?
1. Toronto Raptors - They're doing okay. They're 9th and is having a good run. They'll be back.
2. New Jersey Nets - Oh my goodness. With JKidd not coming back anytime soon they're rubbish. Rubbish. Absolute rubbish. If JKidd comes back late december their season is over. They're 13th out of 15th in the conference and is 3 - 11.
3. Memphis - These guys are in trouble. Not that they're bad... Well, they are. 13th out of 15th in the tough Western conference. Plus Hubie Brown retired as coach. Paul Gasol better step it out of Memphis' stellar run last season will officially be considered a fluke by me.
4. Denver - I got nothing to say about these jokers. Cocky donkeys. Good thing they're down.

In the top 8 but under-performing.
1. Detroit
2. Minnesota
3. Philadelphia

Thats the season so far.

Just so you know, I'm rooting for the Suns. While inititially I thought to myself that they'll probably make it to the conference semis at best, I'm starting to be daring enough to shout

SUNS FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Cows and flying cows that fly over moons and lands on a chilli farm.

Here is story of how Benji the cow cultivated the habit of eating chilli sauce.

Once upon a time, he was practicing his acrobatic and athletic skills in the middle of the night. One of his favorite moves was jumping over the moon.

So he did. And he jumped over the moon.

Just that on that particular occasion, he miscalculated the trajectory and was bound to miss his initial landing target. So since he couldn't do anything at all, he let fly anyway. Might as well enjoy the ride.

He landed on a chilli farm. Then he squashed a thousand chillis with the impact of his meteoric impact on the farm. The chillis turned to pulp.

And Benji started licking them.

Benji got fantastically good results for his recent term in Monash.
He's my colleague now in some magazine company.

Congrats my friend. I told you chilli sauce was good for you.
Kudos to Sarah, Mal and Szenny as well. Fikri's results got barred cos he didn't eat any chilli sauce over the semester. As for the rest of the dudes and dudettes, I haven't heard from you ppl yet but kudos in advance!!!
