The Force of Ten Thousand Nuclear Bombs

The thing about love is.

Its not always very exciting.

Contrary to what most people believe, it doesn’t always come rushing at your face down your throat through your spine and make your hair stand up straight in a sudden moment of extraordinarily outrageous miraculous event of realization that you’re in love with someone.

It doesn’t always slash into your stomach like a gutter gutting out every little ounce of gut you’ve got with the force of ten thousand nuclear bombs.
 
Technically speaking, none of us have an idea what the force of ten thousand nuclear bombs is.

Theoretically speaking, when a nuclear bomb is set off, what will happen to our physical bodies is that we will vaporize almost immediately. So there’s this possibility that we don’t feel a thing at all when a nuke goes off.

So maybe falling in love is like the force of ten thousand nuclear bombs setting off at the same time.

Because the thing about love is.

You might not feel a thing.

It can just subtly wash over you.

And it can just subtly pass you by.

We don’t know a thing about what love is.
